As I said on the 'Introduction' page of this site, Internet usage is growing at an enormius pace. Although it is only a little over 10 years since the Internet came into popular use it now forms an almost essential part of everyday life. With the price for Broadband connection finally dropping it is clear that browsing and shopping online is going to become increasingly popular.

At the moment millions of people 'surf' the web looking for goods and services, but over the next few years they are going to be joined by many, many more as Internet connections become faster and cheaper.

The result of more and more people using their computers to look for goods or services is that businesses, no matter what their field, will eventually have to establish a prescence on the Internet, or run the risk of being left behind by their competitors.

Lastly, it must be remembered that young people are now brought up to use computers as second nature. Quite simply, they will probably never use a business that they cannot at least seek some information on the Internet about!
